First, I’d love to extend a HUGE thank you to Rick Diamond of The Book Publishing Company (www.bookpubco.com), as well as both authors, Nomi Shannon and Sheryl Duruz, for making this contest possible…

If you’ve been following this blog, you know that I just reviewed two raw food books: The Raw Gourmet and Raw Food Celebrations. Well, now’s your chance to win yourself your own copies! That’s right: I’m giving away both books as a combo prize to one lucky reader!

Feel free to read the in-depth reviews I wrote for each book:

The Raw Gourmet, Raw Food Celebrations

You’re allowed FOUR FIVE SIX entries for this contest:

Note: Please leave a comment for each thing you do (tweet, plurk, etc.) because each comment will be counted as a number when I enter the total number of comments at Random.org once the contest ends. Thanks!

  1. Leave a comment sharing why you’d benefit from winning both of these books. (DO NOT just say “thanks for the contest” or something like that–I do not publish those type of comments because they seem like spam and aren’t fair to the other contestants who leave a thoughtful, genuine answer.)
  2. Do you Twitter? Tweet about this contest and then leave a comment with your Twitter name. You can swipe this tweet: RT: @RawJuiceGirl Win The Raw Gourmet and Raw Food Confessions ( http://tinyurl.com/mygwl9 ) – books for a raw food lifestyle!
  3. Do you Plurk? Plurk about this contest and leave a comment with your Plurk URL.
  4. Share this contest on your blog, linking back to this post. (The pingback will be counted as an extra entry.) If you don’t see your pingback, just email me at healingwithjuices@gmail.com and let me know. It may have gone to spam for some reason.
  5. Add Healing with Juices to your favorites on Technoratori. Comment again to let me know, with a link to your technoratori profile to show you added us.
  6. Are you a Stumbler? Stumble and review any post you want to–just leave the link to your SU review in (its own) comment.

NOTE: REMEMBER TO LEAVE A COMMENT FOR EACH ENTRY SO I’LL KNOW YOU DID THEM. I realize this is a little crazy, but last contest resulted in 166 comments! :-)

ANYONE can enter this contest. You DO NOT have to be in the United States. Oh, and I’ll be using Random.org to choose the winner….

Contest ends Friday, July 31st, at 9 p.m. (Central Time) so you have a WHOLE WEEK to get all your entries in. Have fun trying to win!!

I love cookbooks and UNcookbooks would be a great addition to my library! I keep trying to make healthier eats for my family and adding some more raw food into the diet would certainly help! Plus, the photos of the dishes make me hungry, I would love to try some of these!

These books would really help me out, because I am trying to convert to Raw Foods to help stave off some health problems by converting to Raw Foods, and I am having some trouble with the transition. I keep looking for new recipes and encouragement to keep me going.

first can I say as bad as I want to win, I almost wanted to not enter so I might have a chance at some of the other goodies you have! :)

I have been trying to learn more about going raw and since you say these books have recipes that even a mere newbie like me could do, I’m really excited to check them out!

I think it would be great to learn about how healthful raw vegetables are for you. I think I would benefit in puting into practive the tideas you havde in your books.

I just learned about eating raw and believe I will give it a try. 20 years younger hmmm. That idea I like. The transition may be slow but perhaps (hopefully) the books would help.

I have Christmas and Thanksgiving at my house and have been stressing on the menu this year. While I can’t have a 100% raw menu I would love to introduce some great dishes to my un-raw family. Even if I don’t win I’m going to buy the book…but it would be great to win it!
