Note: Please leave a comment for each thing you do (tweet, plurk, etc.) because each comment will be counted as a number when I enter the total number of comments at Random.org once the contest ends. (DO NOT just say “thanks for the contest” or something like that–I do not publish those type of comments because they seem like spam and aren’t fair to the other contestants who leave a thoughtful, genuine answer.) Thanks!

  1. Visit www.theboldermatcompany.com and take a look around. Leave a comment sharing which yoga mat design is your favorite and how you plan to use it (Yoga, Pilates, etc., or tell us if you’re new to either of those and will just be starting out on your mat journey.)
  2. Visit www.yoganamastacy.com and tell us anything you like about what you read about Stacy McCarthy on her About page, or which Yoga DVD sounds most appealing to you.
  3. Do you Twitter? Tweet about this contest and then leave a comment with your Twitter name. You can swipe this tweet: RT: @RawJuiceGirl Win a GORGEOUS yoga mat (from The Bolder Mat Company) + a yoga DVD (by @YogaNamaStacy) (a $70 value combo!) http://tinyurl.com/ldoqx9

  5. Share this contest on your blog, linking back to this post. (The pingback will be counted as an extra entry.) If you don’t see your pingback, just email me at healingwithjuices@gmail.com and let me know. It may have gone to spam for some reason.
  6. Add Healing with Juices to your favorites on Technoratori. Comment again to let me know, with a link to your technoratori profile to show you added us.
  7. Are you a Stumbler? Stumble and review any post you want to–just leave the link to your SU review in (its own) comment.

NOTE: REMEMBER TO LEAVE A COMMENT FOR EACH ENTRY SO I’LL KNOW YOU DID THEM.

ANYONE can enter this contest. You DO NOT have to be in the United States. Oh, and I’ll be using Random.org to choose the winner….

Hi Michele, I just visited the web site, and browsed around. I didn’t want to leave!
The mats are so beautiful, but I have to say my favorites are 1) Fish Wish.. the colours on it are wonderful, and for me actually makes me feel full of energy!
    2) (The runner up) is Cosmic Breath, it’s so peaceful to me, and just carries what Yoga is to me.
I haven’t done yoga in a very long time, but this looks like the way to get back to it!

What do I like about what it says in Stacy’s about page… I think it would be faster and simpler to answer what don’t I like. To chose the main point for me, it would have to be that she has tried both the weight/carido road, as well as the yoga way of life, and found yoga more to her liking. She obviously knows what works for a healthy body, as well as what makes mind and spirit work together!

I like the Chakra mat and the one that says ‘Breathe.’ I have been getting back into yoga after a several year hiatus…I am using my Rodney Yee a.m. yoga video and yoga mat from about 10 years ago. My favorite would have to the the “Go With the Flow Turtle”. I love the blues. Very peaceful and serene. My second favorite would be “Flower Power”. I plan to use it to start up with yoga. I did it once, years ago. I have started working out again and I need something to seriously stretch my muscles. I always feel so tight.

just poked around, looking at mats (waaaay better than looking at work!) and i love the go with the flow turtle mat. I feel as though having that little guy at the bottom of my mat would be a reminder to take it easy and just relax. I’ve recently decided to get back to yoga- carve out time for it and shell out some hard earned money to buy myself a class pass. I need that time for myself.

after checking stacey’s website, i’ve decided she has the best domain name ever!
but seriously, i loved the part about how she used to do sports that required her to blast her music to distract her (horrible paraphrasing, i know) and then found yoga. I love that- far too often i remove myself from a run by blaring the music and that doesn’t really accomplish the “me” time I crave!
Would l.o.v.e. to try her total body yoga!

I know Stacy personally, she is an exceptional human being. I used to practice with her multiple times per week and just recently saw her at the W hotel for an outdoor practice. I love the way she helps all levels of students go within themselves and not compare to others in the room.

And I dig the pink/red 7th chakra heaven yoga mat. I am an experienced yogi (ashtanga) and a teacher and would use it for my practice. It would brighten my day!

Wow, these are gorgeous! It would be verrrrry hard to choose just one. But, I think I’m partial to the blue Go With The Flow Turtle for my daily yoga practice. I had to conquer many demons to get myself into a yoga class this winter. Now, I’m hooked. My mantra: Just Be On Your Mat.

    earthmother said:

“…I was distracted as I judged myself in the mirror. Then I found yoga.”

Really resonated with that on Stacy’s page! I had spent years and years judging that reflection in the mirror. When I finally mustered up enough courage to walk into my first yoga class and found a wall of mirrors, I almost turned tail and bolted right out the door. My mantra became “just be on your mat, just be on your mat, just be on your mat…”

My yoga practice has helped me come home to my body. I first had to learn compassion and non-judgment on my own mat before I could take that practice out into the world. Today, when I find myself slipping into old patterns and judging another’s looks, behavior or choices, I silently say my mantra, “just be on your mat”. Works every time!

Before today, the last time I tried to do yoga a year ago, I cried, because I was too heavy to do the poses anymore, and didn’t have enough room in my living room to move my big body. Michele,

I’m a fairly active person and have been doing Yoga and Pilates for years and love it! I truly believe that it’s wonderful for total mind and body wellness.

I do not have any of Stacy McCarthy’s videos, but they look as though they would be a wonderful addition to my collection of DVDs and I would be so excited to win them! I was impressed with her long list of experience and credentials, and from the sample video on the homepage, you can see she is an advanced yoga instructor, which I really admire. Sometimes it’s hard to find a yoga video that is more than just beginner.

As for the mat, I really like the Cosmic Breath Mat. I like the colors and the flowing pattern of the design. It looks so relaxing to me – it would be a nice enhancement to any yoga or pilates routine!

Thank you so much for a great contest, Michele! I hope you are having an amazing day and weekend!
