Ah, too bad that Amish lady didn’t talk to you. Some of them around here will speak to me, others won’t. They each have personalities like us and I think some are more “afraid” to speak to us (almost like they’re doing something sinful, or something).

I have always been facinated by the Amish, I was in Vermont a couple months ago and saw an Amish couple at a visitor center, they appeared to be traveling thru, I walked up to them hoping to have a conversation, but no luck, they just smiled and walked away....my sister teased me for the rest of the day saying I was trying to make myself a part of their family!!
